2019 AMP Foundation Tomorrow Maker – Samantha Payne

We are extremely excited to announce that Pink Elephants has been announced as a 2019 AMP’s Tomorrow Fund Grant recipient, receiving valuable funds to further support couples experiencing early pregnancy loss.

Our CEO Sam Payne was named a ‘Tomorrow Maker’ at the awards ceremony held in Sydney last night, along with an impressive group of Australians all working to make a difference and further their social impact efforts.

These funds are going to make a huge difference in our ability to support the 282 Australian couples each day who experience the heartache of miscarriage. We will now be able to scale the services we provide by employing a staff member to manage these projects and ensure that more and more families receive the support they need.

The expansion of our Peer Support Programme and the further distribution of our resources to hospitals and GP surgeries across Australia will help us to advocate for and provide much-needed validation, empathy and meaningful connections to couples who are going through this journey.

Congratulations Sam!
